DIY - I can make it at home for nothing
Today folks I present you one of my most difficult customizations. In fact, I almost gave the fight against this (70% wool, 30% nylon) skirt from Zara (below).
Because I wanted this skirt to look just like Jane Aldridge’s dress (below).
Not easy peasy…
I had to work hard on this one, but since I made it easy the last time, I felt like I owe you. So… I bought lovely metallic boutons at Reine’s, decided to cut the dress on the front.
Then I got rid of the excess fabric from the clothes so It can fit as a pencil skirt.
Then I sewed the front of the skirt by inserting buttons … It was the most laborious part.
The most hardest part was to remove the cloth fabric to create a shaped fit, and still be able to pull it on without fully destroy it… Harsh !
VOILA !
Kind of Pretty, don’t you think ?

wow, you did a great job! the skirt looks fantastic on you! when i get some time i want to reconstruct some of my clothing too.
