DIY is back ! ( Customize as you go )
It was high time that I wrote a new DIY article on this english blog ! I know some of you were looking forward to it. I am really sorry I had to let you down on this one. I also have some news to catch up with you.
Anyway, now that I live in London I had to take a closer look at british citizens clothing habit. That’s how I had the weirdest idea.
99p sewing kit
I didn’t have much time for sewing but when I went to the 99p store to purchase a new pyjama I came across this blue sweater…

This blue sweater is part of the pupils’school uniform and costs 99 pence (1,20 euro)
I reckoned I had to do something about this sad piece of clothes and create a whole new trendy sweater with it.
Check this out !
I first sewed red (very red) voluptuous lips on the top right of the shirt.
Then I bought some ribbon and added it on the sweater to hide some seams that were part of the sweater from the start.
I roughly created a v-neck.
But it was not it. I had to give this shapeless sweater a more feminine style…
After 2 hours of “The Hills” and one hour of Mad Men tv series catch-up and 2 minutes of thoughts, I figured out I had to ad buttons at the back of the sweater to create a curved style and a more original outfit. I bought white buttons, cut the sweater in two, added buttons, and gathered back the pieces the way it were.
I also customised a simple Primark 3 pound withe t-shirt and sewed cherries on it… LOVELY !
I sewed the two cherries on the top-left little pocket… Very cute
Coming back soon with more DIY stuff !
