Dear readers, lot of things happened since. I came back to France for a few weeks but I’m already gone ( again ! ) to Canada, Montréal. I know I should have told you before, but it doesn’t matter because my stay in France was not a party time journey. I (as usual) took a look at what happens in the country. And guess what ? France is just the way I left it. Abso-fucking-lutely nothing changed. Youth unemployement, strikes, Nicolas Sarkozy scorning people, Carla’s frozen face, finance scandals, public figures expressing racist thoughts on live TV (completely normal). It’s really reassuring to see how much everything could stay still. However, concerning youth unemployement (because it is the main subject of my post and one of my favourites), I have to tell you that I was bewildered by the so-called serious Management magazine cover.

I realized when I saw this cover how far we got in this society obssessed by sex and power. But at the same time this cover was a key answer to all the unemployed young graduates. Yes, ladies & gentlemen, if you want to have a job (one day), become a good employee but didn’t get a degree from Science PO, ESCP, HEC or ESSEC, the only way to succeed is “Sell yourself BODY AND SOUL, and most importantly BODY.

Cause what you did not understand young girl (or boy) from the Y generation is that you were born too late in a world that doesn’t care. And you have to deal with it ! So now I suggest you to go to the next interview with a see-through top, a mini-skirt and a Penelope Cruz lipstick, whether the interviewer is a girl or a boy. Because you can pretend you are a lesbian. It does work as well.

Because like we say in french “on a rien sans rien” or “faut faire sa pute”. And I know I’m being cynical but If you check out this magazine cover above you must understand you have to play by these rules. Now, if you don’t want to, you can leave the western world and escape to Africa.

P.S : I recently saw a movie with Alexis Bledel (one of the chicks in The sisterhood of the travelling pants movie). It’s about a young unemployed freshly graduate girl who has to go back to mum & dad’s. I really loved it. Here’s the link to the movie.

So instead of turning the tv on and let yet another documentary spread its soporific effect, I just figured out I could ask myself questions about the world, this twisted, crazy, superficial, money and sex obsessed world and let my mind do the soporific effect for a change. So here’s the list of questions of existential matter I asked myself at 4am in the morning and which helped me get through the night (without using any electricity).

1/ When world war III will happen will I be alive ? Will it be western world against the middle east, will the chinese be on the middle east’s side ? Because If they do, it will be a hell of a war. P.S: what am I going to do ? Cause I’m muslim, Will the old white man send me away in a goolag  because I will be considered as an enemy/traitor ?

2/Is Zac Efron really gay ? According to his level of beautifulness, he cannot be straight. I will be watching this really closely. To be continued…

3/Is France really the main terrorist target for the moment, or is it just disinformation ? Well, I think it’s been a long time no one took it on the chin… Plus, Spain and England already got the bomb, so It makes sense to say it’s France’s turn.

4/ Why am I still single ? well, really I’m not sure. Sometimes I think it’s because I’m not thin or slender enough. Sometimes I think because men don’t think enough… with their heads. But mostly, I think I’m single because no men see the beauty in me like I see the beauty in me when I look at me in the mirror.

5/ Why Panoxyl 10 is available on prescription only ?

6/ Mad men, mad men, mad men, mad men, mad man. 4th season final… NOWWWW !

7/ There is no justice or freedom on earth because if there were so, paradise would not exist. Because earth would be paradise.

8/ If I make people think I am really really really beautiful will it make them come back & read my blog more often. See picture above. It’s a test.

9/ Why girls don’t want any longer to stand together for a cause, like they did in the 70’s (abortion law). How men weakened us ? Why girls just take advantage of men but don’t make our condition improve or just bore themselves to death talking about fashion and make-up.

I’ve been in so many places this past  27 years (lol), I never noticed I was a travel freak. I love flying, I love being away, I love discovering…. western countries. No, I’d never lose myself in India & contemplating in Syrian desert. I don’t need learning Chapatis’ receipes in Calcutta, or stiring water from a hole in the middle of nowhere to realise how lucky I am to have a bakery just around the corner in Paris. I am more a western country crazy world observer. yes, white people are my “savages”. We are all someone else’s barbaric, and white people are my barbarians. I like analyzing western world, observing their over-made-up women, their stressed youth and strange elderly.

My trip to Portugal last week was one step closer to my beloved western world. more human than France, arabic influences… etc. I loved it.

Any ressemblance with a butcher’s leaflet from downtown Chicago or downtown Beiruth is purely accidental.
